Reformer Apprenticeship
Our third module is when you really begin to explore what you have learned so far and put your newfound knowledge to the test! You will meet with Leslie & your fellow trainee’s for 10 weekly training sessions (3 hours each) where we break down the repertoire even further, offer helpful tips & tricks for successful cueing and adjustments, answer any and all burning questions, and develop a keen eye for the minor subtleties of movement.
This module will also feature seminars by some wonderful special guests to give you multiple points of view. It will also serve as an introduction to working with special populations and injuries on the reformer, giving you the tools to think more critically about your Pilates practice and learn how to modify movement for specific common (or less common!) cases.
You will then take all the building blocks of knowledge you have learned so far and begin applying it to your own practice teaching, preparing you to eventually take on clients of your own!
