Mark Archer

Much Ado about Pain Module

Mark Archer is a Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist, Pilates Instructor and Strength and Conditioning teacher. Based in London, UK, he has worked in both the National Health Service and private practice. Mark is currently a clinician at London’s APPI (Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute), where he also delivers in-service training in ‘pain science’.

Mark is presently excited to be supporting the Alvin Ailey Dance Company for their London UK tour. His background with professional dance and elite sport include writing, lecturing and consulting for various programmes, creating and implementing screening protocols for vocational dance schools (Laban Conservatoire) and working with England Rugby. 

Although his caseload has been diverse, Mark’s primary interest as a clinician, researcher and University lecturer, has always been in patients suffering from persistent pain; the nature of pain and the management of complex presentations.
